LUNAR PHASES

With the fourth course, we are studying the phases of the moon. To better understand the lunar phases, we did a fun activity involving Oreo cookies! On a paper plate, we separated Oreo cookies to represent the eight phases of the moon--each time using less filling to show how much of the moon we can see as it spins around the earth.
